PENNY Supermarket Concept Art
Conceptual illustrations for the key-visual of an ad campaign for the German supermarket chain PENNY.
The idea for the campaign was to create an amusement park / fair with supermarket products. I designed various rides themed around specific products and created a layout arrangement. Every ride was drawn on a seperate Photoshop layer to create a flexible layout, that could be adapted to various formats.

Fressnapf Christmas TVC Storyboards
Black-and-white storyboards for the animated christmas short film of animal product retailer Fressnapf. In the story Santa Clause visits an animal shelter, but realizes he didn‘t bring the right presents. Luckily the citizens of the town come to his aid and bring presents for all the animals. Even the snake gets a new house.
These storyboards had to be created on a tight schedule and were therefore kept rough and in black and white. Final animation was done by Animationsfabrik.

Playmobil Storyboards
Development of a Playmobil-TVC. Initially complaining about the mess in his daughter‘s room, a look in the father’s bedroom reveals his own untidiness.

Yearly Christmas/New Year’s cards sent out to clients and friends. Each year I try to challenge myself with these cards, experimenting with art style and motive.
Hallberger Wiesn – Festival banner
For the Hallberger Wiesn, a yearly festival held in the town Hallbergmoos I illustrated this banner as the centerpiece background of the large beer tent. The banner shows the history of the town, with central buildings and environments in the front leading towards the festival. On the festival grounds a merry group of people is flocking towards the festival tent. The characters depicted here represent various facets of the town: a female pastor walks next to a member of the towns‘ wrestling team and employees of the airport nearby.
The illustration was commissioned and realized in collaboration with Florian Schmidt of Florian Schmidt Design.

Mascot Character Character Design and Illustration
For this project I was commissioned to develop a mascot character for a metal and steel construction company. I was asked to create a character that was made of various tools and materials used in the job.
First I created a variety of designs based on the clients input and then started to refine the design. Eventually I created a final illustration of the character as a scalable vector file, which the client now uses as part of their company logo.

Animation of a Great Crested Grebe (Haubentaucher) flying, diving into the water and swimming. Created for a natural history exhibition. The flight and swimming animation can be looped to allow for a flexible length.
